He incorporates the many different specialties he has trained in to give him a more comprehensive look at the body and how it heals. His approach focuses on the 5 pillars of health: optimal nerve supply, optimal nutrition, optimal fitness, optimal mindset, and optimal detoxification. Other notable certifications include Board Certified Neuropathy (BCN), Certified Athletic Trainer(ATC), and a certified acupuncturist (CAc).
8 years into practice Dr. Olson found his passion. Leading patients and their families toward OPTIMAL HEALTH so they can live their life to the fullest! When Dr. Olson found spinal correction, he knew this was what he wanted for his family and his patients…a comprehensive approach to health and wellness. Upon learning about spinal correction and the connection of spinal dysfunction to so many of the illnesses and diseases affecting our society today, he completely transformed his practice. Our goal is to help people and their families restore, regain, and/or maintain their health for a lifetime. Our current healthcare model is not a healthcare model at all, but a sick care model that reacts to a symptom compared to developing a healthy lifestyle to FIX the cause.
Meet Melanie Dotson
Office Manager
Hi, my name is Melanie Dotson and I have been working for Dr. Ole at Optimal Health as the office manager, chiropractic assistant, and weight loss coach for two years. My life started in a small town in Germany, where as a teenager, I grew a passion for helping people. When I graduated high school, I pursued a career in nursing, where I soon became a pediatric nurse for six years prior to moving to the United States. After having my son, I changed my focus to retail, where for seventeen years, I excelled in customer service. It wasn’t until a couple of years ago, when I found my calling. I started receiving care for ongoing back pain. After a year of adjustments, the results were unbelievable. My spine was properly aligned, my back and shoulder pain was almost gone, and my overall health had improved. I found myself having more energy while being in a better emotional and spiritual state.

This to me was a miracle that I had to share. I applied for the job at Optimal Health and was hired in July of 2018. I quickly started growing my knowledge in chiropractic care and wellness. This passion has allowed me to help people find a better path to health and wellness, especially when it comes to weight loss. By helping patients break the weight-loss yo-yo cycle, it allows for permanent results without being miserable in the process. I have been receiving chiropractic care now for three years and my life has changed. I now enjoy spending time with family and friends, traveling the country, or just sitting in front of the fire place with a good book.
